This picture does not do this design element justice. This Seymour, Wisconsin project required the removal of an existing concrete slab that had been poured when the home was first built in the 80's. When that slab was originally poured, the client's two children were both very young, and had put their handprints and names in the concrete. To preserve this priceless memory, we carefully cut out the two hand prints, then hammered the edges so they would look like a natural part of the brick patio.
