This project has been featured in the Home section of the Appleton Post-Crescent and was pictured on the cover of a national trade magazine.  The centerpiece of this Japenese-inspired garden is the collection of huge pieces of limestone in the background of this picture.  Five stones, the smallest of which weighed over 3,500 pounds, were all placed upright in the landscape of this residential project in Appleton, WI.  To assure their longevity, more than 39" of each stone was buried in a hole filled that was filled with crushed limestone, then compacted.  Each hole was then capped with clay soil to prevent water from having an opportunity to do any freeze-thaw damage.  Unilock's tumbled Stonehenge pavers were used for the walkways, the fence was constructed from cedar.
